Teens Held Over Blaze Death
Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the death of a 15-year-old girl, who was killed in an arson attack in south London.
Maleha Masud died on 25 June, four days after the attack in Tooting, south London.
Four members of the teenager's family were left critically injured in the attack. Her brothers Zain, 22, and Junaid, 16, and sister Nabiha, 21, remain in a critical condition.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and two other boys, aged 14 and 15, have been rearrested as part of the murder inquiry.
The 14-year-old and 15-year-old were first arrested on 22 June over the suspected arson and had been released on bail until August.
All three remain in police custody.
Rubina Masud, 53, the girl's mother, who was discharged from hospital, last week said: "I am devastated at what's happened. I can't believe anyone would do such a thing. I am just really concerned for my children. Please pray for them."
City banker Zain and Ms Masud escaped by jumping from a first-floor window of the house in Lessingham Avenue.
The London Fire Brigade was called to the property just after 4.30am on Sunday and rescued Nabiha, Maleha and Junaid.
They all suffered burns and smoke inhalation.
