Former Glamour Model Faces Jail For Multiple Bigamy
A former glamour model has appeared in court charged with offences relating to bigamy.
Emily Jane Horne, 30, from York, admitted to getting married for the fifth time, despite still being married to her four previous 'husbands'.
The 30-year-old, who now lives in Kingswinford, in the West Midlands, was branded by the judge as a "very predatory female" as she admitted in court to marrying four men by the age of 23.
No facts were given in court and she was given conditional bail after admitting bigamy.
It is understood Ms Horne - who also appeared in low-budget porn films - first got married to a soldier, in York in December 1996, on her 18th birthday.
Then in 1999 she wed for the second time in Leeds while the following year she took another husband in Rotherham.
Ms Horne was then cautioned for two offences of bigamy by West Yorkshire Police in August 2001.
In 2002, however, she got married again, but failed to have her previous marriages annulled. She was then jailed for six months after the case in Ipswich.
Her fifth marriage took place in September 2007 at Chadderton Register’s Office near Oldham, Greater Manchester.
But, on her way to Scotland for her honeymoon she revealed she was already married, and the police were called in.
After a brief hearing, the case was adjourned until July 27 for sentencing and the preparation of pre-sentence reports, including an assessment by a psychiatrist on the possible effects of a prison term.
