Teenager Dies In Car Crash
An 18-year-old man has died and three people have been injured in a car accident in Cornwall.
The head-on crash involved a Rover Mini, a Renault Scenic and a Volkswagon Polo on the B3274 at Winnards Perch, at approximately 10.20pm last night.
The driver of the Mini, a man from the Padstow area, died from his injuries. His front seat passenger, a 16-year-old girl from the same area, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The 23-year-old female driver of the Renault, from London, was also taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life threatening. Her passenger did not sustain serious injuries but all are in hospital.
The road has been closed and investigators are currently examining the scene.
Police are appealing for any information to anyone who may have seen the accident to call 08452 777444.

Westminster tops road accident table
More people are killed or seriously injured on roads in Westminster than anywhere else in England, according to a new report. The study, by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, found that for every 100,000 people in the London borough, 176 were killed or seriously injured in road accidents in 2003/4, while 1,114 people suffered slight injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in the Maltby area of Rotherham. A silver Rover 45 and a silver Mercedes estate car were involved in a head-on collision on the A631 Tickhill Road at Maltby on Sunday 17 May. The driver of the Rover, an 88-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Murder Investigation Launched After Fatal Sligo Assault
A murder investigation has been launched by Gardai in Co. Sligo after a man died following an assault. Tony Ward, 23, was attacked on Joe McDonnell Drive around 1:15am on Monday morning. He was taken to Sligo General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
