Police Investigation After Body Found In Bin
Police investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in a wheelie bin at a property in Surrey, are trying to trace a 33-year-old man who moved out of the house about three weeks ago.
Officers were called to Hamilton Avenue, Cobham, at 3.20pm on Saturday after a foot was seen sticking out of the green bin.
The victim, believed to be in her 30s, was recovered in the bin, which had been surrounded by rubbish.
A post mortem examination revealed the woman suffered a serious head injury but did not establish a cause of death.
Police are trying to trace Peter Wallner, 33, who moved out of the house three weeks ago.
A Surrey Police spokesman said he "may be able to provide useful information for the investigation".
He is described as a heavy-built white man with broad shoulders, about 6ft (1.8m) tall, with slightly receding brown cropped hair and brown eyes.
Police have been at the scene conducting house-to-house inquiries.
The semi-detached house was taped off and guarded by two officers.
