Three Sought Over Bradford Fire

Police in Bradford have appealed for information following a fire at an accountants in Girlington.

The cause of the fire at Greenfield Accountants on Whetley Lane is under investigation but is believed to be suspicious.

Police were called to the address at 12.25am this morning. A woman and three children from a neighbouring property were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary and were checked over and released.

Three suspects - Asian males in their early 20s - were seen running away from the scene and Police would like to speak to them or anyone who saw them.

Heroic Tyne Firemen Honoured
Two Tyne and Wear firefighters are to be recognised for their bravery at a special ceremony today. Andrew Nelson and Allan Richardson will be presented with the Chief Fire Officer's Commendations for brave and meritorious conduct after saving a man's life. The men took part in a dramatic rescue in the early hours of 4 February.

Suspicious Glasgow Car Fires
Detectives in Glasgow's East End are investigating a spate of vehicle fire attacks in the city yesterday. Shortly after 3.30am police were called to a report of a vehicle fire in Ashvale Crescent, Glasgow. Upon arrival police were advised by Strathclyde Fire Service that four vehicles had been damaged by fire.

Body Parts 'Match' Missing Bradford Woman
Police in West Yorkshire have confirmed that human remains found in the River Aire are those of missing Bradford woman, Suzanne Blamires. The body parts were recovered from the river in Shipley on Tuesday, after being discovered by a member of the public who then reported the find to police.
