Man Critical Following Attack In Kingswinford
Police are appealing for a number of people who may have witnessed an attack on a man in Kingswinford in the early hours of Saturday.
The attack happened between 2.15 and 2.30am on Saturday 9 May in High Street, Kingswinford between Bar South and The Arizona Crossing pub.
A 38-year-old local man was punched and kicked to the ground during the incident. He is currently detained in a critical but stable condition in hospital with internal injuries.
Police investigating the incident believe there may have been around ten people who were in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the attack and urgently need these people to come forward with any information they may have.
DC Ian Moore from Halesowen CID said: "We particularly need to trace a woman with braided hair and a man with receeding hair who tried to intervene and stop the attack. Anyone with information should contact the CID at Halesowen on 0845 113 5000."

Man Wanted Over Knife Attack On Brothers
Wiltshire Police are hunting a man wanted in connection with a knife attack on 16-year-old twin brothers. It is understood the brothers were attacked following a party at Dilton Marsh, near Westbury, at about 23:00 on Saturday. One of the brothers remains in a stable but serious condition in hospital.

Woman Dies In Hairdresser Knife Attack
A 20-year-old woman has died following a knife attack at Gloucester hair salon. Police responded to reports of a woman being attacked at Fringe Benefits on Southgate Street at around 18:00 on Tuesday evening. The woman died a short time later at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

South Wales Police are searching for a number of people in connection with a daytime attack on a 19-year-old man in a park in Cardiff. Police said the victim is in a critical condition in hospital following the attack, which happened on Monday at about 13:45 at Tremorfa park, Cardiff. It is understood the incident involved around 20 people.

Twenty-Five Injured In M4 Coach Crash
Around 25 people were injured when a coach crashed on the M4 near Newbury on Wednesday evening. The incident happened around 7pm, when the private hire coach came off the westbound carriageway, between junctions 14 and 15, and plunged around 30ft down an embankment.
