Husband Remanded Over Kirsty Murder

The husband of a model whose body was found alongside a motorway has appeared in court today, charged with her murder.

Kirsty Grabham, 24, of Mount Pleasant, Swansea, went missing on 28 March after a night out with her friends.

She was last seen getting into a taxi that picked her up from her friend's home in Dan y Graig Road in the Port Tennant area of the city.

Paul Grabham, 25, of Rose Hill Terrace, Swansea, South Wales, was charged with her murder on Tuesday night.

He was arrested late on Friday, and had been quizzed by police for almost four days before he was charged.

His solicitor, Andrew Stewart, made no application for bail and the case against Grabham was committed to the Crown Court.

Magistrates' Chairman Sonia Walters remanded him in custody until his next court appearance on April 17.
