Missing Mother And Daughters Found In Germany

A mother who went missing six months ago with her five daughters, when she heard they were to be taken into care, have been found in Germany.

Natalie Bracht, 34, left her home in Sunderland on 17 May, with the girls – aged between five and 13.

It is understood the woman suffers from a personality disorder.

Northumbria Police launched a national search, for the German-born woman, with the support of forces across the UK and in Europe.

Ms Bracht was discovered in Munich on Monday.

A spokesman for Northumbria Police said they were working with their German counterparts and "will be speaking with Natalie in due course".

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Bentham said: "I am happy that the girls have been found safe and well and I would like to thank the public and the media for their help and assistance in this matter."

Disabled Woman Found Dead In Car
A disabled woman found stabbed to death in her car near her home in Harlow, Essex, has been named. Jennifer Macaree was discovered in Hadley Grange on the outskirts of Harlow early on Saturday. Essex Police confirmed she was in the driver's seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa in a parking area near her flat shortly after 3am.

Woman Found Dead At Liverpool Property Identified
A woman found dead at a property in Huyton in Liverpool on Wednesday has been identified as being 45-year-old Michelle Teare. At about 12.50pm, emergency services were called to a property on Ashbury Road following the discovery of a body inside a property. Emergency services attended and found the body of Michelle Teare.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

Police Investigating If Woman Was Trying To Save Dog When She Was Hit By Train
British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.
