Police Appeal After Man Killed In Crash

Police are appealing for information following the death of a 21-year-old man after a collision in Brynteg, Wrexham, Wales, last night.

The man was killed after his van had collided with three parked vehicles and overturned just after 11.30pm.

North Wales Police officers attended the scene following reports of the crash on Long Lane, Brynteg.

A police spokesman said: "Officers who attended the scene found that a white panel van had been in collision with three parked vehicles prior to overturning a short distance away."

A 21-year-old male occupant from the van was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, or anyone who may have information to contact Eastern Roads Unit at Wrexham on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh language) or 0845 607 1002 (English language).

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Three Killed In Hatton Cross Crash
Three people have been killed in a crash close to a west London Underground station. The crash, involving a van and a car, occured on the A30 Great South West Road, near Hatton Cross Tube station. Metropolitan Police officers were called to the scene around 7am. The van collided with a car trying to make a turn in the road.

Release Of Police Killer Described As 'Sickening'
The release of a man convicted of killing three unarmed police officers in 1966 has been described as "sickening". Harry Roberts, now aged 78, has been released from prison after serving 48 years for 1966 murders of three unarmed police officers in Shepherd's Bush in west London.

Major Police Hunt Launched After Boy Taken From Hospital
A major police hunt has begun after a five-year-old boy with a brain tumour, was taken by his family without consent from Southampton General Hospital. Police said that Ashya King was taken from the hospital by Brett King, 51, and Naghemeh King, 45, on Thursday. It is thought he may have been taken to France.
