Two Die In Stolen Car Collision
Two men have died after the car they were travelling in was involved in a collision.
Police attended the scene on Alderdale Road in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, just before 1am on Friday following reports that the Vauxhall Astra had lost control and overturned, landing in a front garden of a house.
Paramedics attended, but the driver and passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Eyewitness accounts stated that the car driver lost control as it came to the junction of Councillor Lane.
It is believed that the victims are two local men, both aged 20.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the car was reported stolen from outside a house on Radnormere Drive earlier last night.
An investigation into the exact circumstances of the collision will continue.
At this stage it is not believed that any other vehicle was involved.
No one else was injured in the collision.

The court heard how police were called on Sunday, 17 November 2013 at about 1:45am to reports of a man injured on Essex Road.

Man Charged Over White City Hit-And-Run
A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run incident in White City, London, last week. The man is said to have attended a west London police station on Tuesday where he was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

Three people killed in M6 collision
Three people have been killed in a collision on the M6, Lancashire police have confirmed. The incident happened on the border of Greater Manchester and Lancashire, near junction 27 at Standish on the northbound carriageway of the M6, around 6:50am on Tuesday morning. It is understood that a lorry fell on to a Fiat Punto.

Investigation Launched After Death Of Woman Following Bus Fall
A woman has died in hospital after falling on a route E3 bus on Chiswick High Road, just after 13:30 on Tuesday, 18 August. The 77-year-old woman was taken to hospital by ambulance, where she was pronounced dead shortly before 17:00.

Up To Four Suffer 'Life-Changing' Injuries In Troop Carrier Collision
More than 20 people have been injured, 4 or 5 seriously, in a collision involving three troop carriers on Salisbury Plain. Wiltshire Police were called to the accident at about 18:30 on Wednesday. The cause of the accident is being investigated but it is understood that 4 or 5 people have suffered "life-changing injuries".
