Youth In Court For Costcutter Murder
A nineteen-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a teenager at a south-east London supermarket.
Ashley Bucknor, of no fixed abode, will appear before Camberwell Green Magistrates Court later.
The accused is charged with the murder of 18-year-old Ryan Bravo, who was shot dead at the Costcutter store on Camberwell Road, Walworth on Wednesday.
Police believe the teenager was an innocent bystander, "caught in the line of fire".
The teenager was with his two brothers and a cousin and had gone into the store to buy snacks.
A post mortem revealed that Mr Bravo died from a single gunshot wound to the back.
Police are also wishing to question two young black men who rushed inside the shop to get away from an armed gang riding mopeds.
Ryan's mother, Elfrida Kiffin say her son was a "loving brother, partner and son who was already dearly missed".
The murder marks the 22nd young person to be killed as a result of violence in London this year.
