Five Arrested Over Attempted Murder
Police have made five arrests over an alleged attempted murder that occurred after a funeral.
A man suffered head injuries when he was assaulted in the High Street in Newmarket, Suffolk, on 4 June.
Two men and a teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The three have not been identified but it is understood it is a man, 44, from Watford, a teenager, 17, from Surrey and a man, 40, from Annan in Scotland.
A 17-year-old from Cambridgeshire was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a Surrey man, 48, was held on suspicion of assisting offenders.
The five accused have been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station at a later date.
It is understood the victim was attacked after the funeral.
He received treatment at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and is now recovering from his injuries at his Lincolnshire home.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Double Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of double murder after two people were found dead at a house in Essex. Emergency services discovered the man and woman at a property in Bentfield Gardens, Stansted at approximately 11pm on 21 July. They were pronounced dead at the scene. A 23-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody.

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a female student over 30 years ago. Melanie Road was 17 when she was attacked after a night out in June 1984. Her body was discovered with multiple stab wounds close to a block of garages in St Stephen's Court, Lansdown. A 63-year-old man from Bristol has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Kent. At around 7.15pm on Tuesday (19 May), police were called to a property in Hectorage Road, Tonbridge. Two men, aged 34 and 54, had sustained injuries which police believed to be knife wounds. The 54-year-old victim died at the scene. The 34-year-old was taken to hospital.

South Wales Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder at a caravan park last Sunday. Conner Marshall (18) died on Thursday from injuries sustained in an attack last weekend. He had been found in a critical condition at Trecco Bay Caravan Park, Porthcawl.

Man Hit By Bus Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder, after he was hit by a bus in Oldham. At around 7pm on Monday police responded to a call that a man had been hit by a bus in Henshaw Street. A short time later, police then attended Royal Oldham Hospital following a report that a woman had been admitted with stab wounds.
