Three Accused In Court Over Ben Murder
Three people accused of murdering Ben Kinsella are due in court today.
Ben, 16, was stabbed during a row with youths in York Way, Holloway, north London in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is thought that Ben had been at a party at Shillibeers pub, in North Road, when the row broke out between several youths.
The disturbance spilled out into the street along North Road, where Ben was stabbed at around 2am.
It is understood several youths were ejected from the bar and the trouble continued down the street.
A post mortem revealed the cause of death as "multiple stab wounds" to the torso.
Juress Kika and Michael Alleyne, both 18, and Jade Braithwaite, 19, all from Islington, will appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.
The teenagers were charged on Thursday with the murder of the schoolboy.
Juress Kika and Michael Alleyne were arrested late on Monday night at an address in the Chadwell Heath.
Jade Braithwaite was arrested in Bethnal Green on Tuesday.
An 18-year-old man arrested on Monday at an address in Islington has been bailed to return to a London police station in mid-August.
Also, on Monday, two 16-year-old teenagers were released on police bail in connection with the killing.
They will return to a north London police station at a later date in August.
A website www.benkinsella.org.uk and fund has been set up by his family.
The family say on the website that they would "like to thank everyone who has supported the family during this very hard time".
A woman posted on the website message board that "as a mother of teenage boys, I am scared for them every day they leave the house".
"Anyone found with a knife, should do national service. There shouldn't be a second chance. These victim's don't have a second chance," she said.
The circumstances surrounding the death are still unclear. Police have said that there is nothing to suggest that it was a "racially motivated" or "gang related" crime.
Earlier this week, Ben's actress sister Brooke paid an emotional tribute to her brother and said: "We tragically lost not only a beautiful son and brother, but a true angel.
"He was one of the kindest and gentlest boys God created."
The former Eastenders actress pleaded with youngsters who carry knives to "please, please, put down your knives and weapons and think about the pain and suffering they will cause".
"Please can we waste no more time and come together as a country to ensure that no other lives are wasted," she said.
On Tuesday, about 400 protestors marched along Upper Street in Islington to the scene of the murder demanding an end to knife crime.
Ben is the 17th teenager to be killed through violent means in London since the start of the year.
