Winehouse Husband Admits Assault
The husband of soul singer Amy Winehouse has admitted assaulting a pub landlord, court officials have revealed.
Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, has admitted to two charges of grievous bodily harm and conspiring to pervert the course of justice at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court.
The incident took place at the Macbeth pub in Hoxton, east London, in June 2007.
Fielder-Civil could face a maximum of five years in prison for the assault.
It has also emerged that Michael Brown, 25, of Carshalton, Surrey has admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. Anthony Kelly, 25, of Chalk Farm, and James Kennedy, 19, of Hatfield have admitted to perverting the course of justice.
The pub landlord, James King, 36, of Risley, Derbyshire, awaits trial on perverting the course of justice.
Winehouse and Fielder-Civil married in Miami in May 2007. He was arrested four months later and has been awaiting trial in prison ever since.
Winehouse appeared in court last week to support her husband during pre-trial hearings.
Winehouse, a recipient of coveted awards such as the Ivor Novello, is reported to have amassed a £10 million fortune.

Barrister Jailed After Lying To Police
Barrister Constance Briscoe has been jailed for 16 months, it has been reported. Briscoe, who is a part-time judge, was found guilty of lying to police in relation to ex-cabinet minister Chris Huhne's speeding points case. The 56-year-old was convicted on three counts of intending to pervert the course of justice in relations to the case.

Woman Arrested In Phone Hacking Operation
A 47-year-old woman, understood to be the PA of ex-News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks, has been arrested in Essex investigating the phone hacking scandal. Scotland Yard confirmed the woman was arrested at around 06.55am this morning and is currently in custody on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
