Man Remanded Over Harry Potter Actor Killing
A 21-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the murder of a teenage Harry Potter film actor, Robert Knox.
The 18-year-old victim - who was due to appear in the forthcoming Harry Potter film - was stabbed to death during a fight outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup, south-east London.
Karl Bishop, unemployed, of Sidcup, appeared today at Bexleyheath Magistrates' Court today charged with his murder. He is also accused of wounding five others.
Mr Bishop - who spoke only to confirm his name, age and address and to say he understood the charges - was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on September 2.
Mr Knox was stabbed during a disturbance in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Station Road Metro Bar.
A post mortem examination revealed the young man died from bleeding caused by stab injuries.

Husband remanded over Pc killing

A British man has been charged with killing his wife after her body was discovered in a shallow grave in the Caribbean. Nixiann Downes-Clack's body was discovered in Grenada on Friday after she was reported missing by relatives. A post-mortem examination revealed she died of a blunt force trauma and asphyxiation by strangulation.

Man Charged With Hoxton Killing
A man will appear in court today charged with the murder of a teenage girl who was shot in the neck at a takeaway restaurant. Leon Dunkley, of east London, has been charged with the murder, and a 16-year-old boy was released on bail until June. Mr Dunkley is due to appear before Westminster magistrates later.
