Reds v Blues In Moscow
The largest country in the world will play host to the clash of two Premierships titans in the Champions League Final.
Thousands of Chelsea and Manchester United fans sporting their clubs colours are pouring into Moscow to support their teams in tonight's highly anticipated all-English game.
However, the 42,000 fans expected will be met by a mighty security operation and a zero tolerance policy from the Russian police.
Around 7,000 Russian riot police will be patrolling the streets and a police contingent of 18 specialist officers will assist.
Chief Superintendent Janette McCormick, speaking from Moscow said that they had "been gathering intelligence on potential and known troublemakers".
She also urged football fans to follow advice given and to use the official transport provided to the stadium.
Fiona McGee from the Football Supporters' Federation said that fans should be cautious about personal security.
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) has warned fans not to let drinking ruin their Champions League final experience had reminded fans that penalties for breaking the law are "severe and can result in long-term jail sentences".
Supporters were not allowed to travel to the game from British airports unless they had a valid match ticket.
There will be no big screens erected to allow those without tickets to view the game.
Alcohol consumption and smoking is banned in all public areas in Moscow and fans will not have the luxury of standing around in Moscow's famous Red Square.
Many fans have spent more than £1,000 for their tickets for the match, which kicks off at 10.45 local time, (8.45pm in the UK).
Chelsea have previously won four FA Cups, four League Cups and two UEFA Cup Winner's Cup.
Manchester United, the Premier League's reigning champions have won the Premier League 17 times.

Chelsea Fans Set Champions League Final
Chelsea will compete in their first-ever Champions League final after an extra-time victory over Liverpool. The Blues sealed a 3-2 win against their rivals which also gave them a 4-3 aggregate triumph. Didier Drogba - who is the 2006 African Footballer of the Year - drove home two goals in the 33rd minute and again at the 105th.

Manchester United Fans Stabbed At Champions League Tie
Football violence has marred a Champions League tie between Manchester United and Roma. Five United fans were stabbed during clashes with Roma supporters before Wednesday night’s final group match. Seven people were taken to hospital, one of those being a 16 year old boy who needed treatment for intoxication.

Five England football fans are reported to have been injured during a fight in Moscow ahead of England's Euro 2008 qualifier against Russia. It is understood that the injured fans were taken to Botkan hospital.

Dejected Manchester United fans are returning home from Rome today, following last night's Champions League final defeat by Barcelona. Sir Alex Ferguson's hopes of making history, and becoming the first club to defend the title, ended in failure in the Stadio Olimpico, with a 2-0 defeat from the Catalonian side.
