Police Concerned For Missing Teenager
A young girl is believed to have run away with an older man.
Sixteen-year-old Lisa Wright, from Dagenham, Essex, went missing on her way to school on April 28.
The teenager has contacted her mother, Angela, twice but has refused to say where she is.
Ms Wright believes that her daughter may have run of with an unemployed man almost three times her age.
It is thought Lisa is staying with Nigel Trowbridge, 46, from Barking.
Reports say that she is "infatuated" with the man who is thought to be an old school friend of her mothers.
It is reported that police have searched Mr Trowbridge's flat and found some of Lisa's clothes and a bottle of her perfume.
Lisa was due to sit her GCSE exams this week.
A Metropolitan spokesman says that police are concerned because of her age and are continuing to investigate.
"She is 16 so is old enough to leave home if she wanted but we are treating it as a missing person," the spokesman added.
Lisa is described as around 5ft 5 in tall with shoulder length blonde hair and brown eyes.
Barking Police have issued an appeal for information. Anyone who can assist is asked to call 020 8217 7749.

She is said to have been in the company of a man. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, police have said.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
