Leeds Nightclub Disturbance Men Bailed

Five men have been bailed after being arrested for a disturbance outside a nightclub in Leeds.

The incident occurred this morning in The Calls area of Leeds City Centre.

Five other men suffered injuries and are being treated at Leeds General Infirmary for stab wounds.

West Yorkshire Police said that three of the injured men were thought to be from the Nottingham area, one from Rotherdam and one from Leeds.

One of the men received serious injuries, but it is not being treated as life threatening.

Police believe that the men arrested and bailed are in their 20s.

The police said in a statement that "CCTV picked up what appeared to be a disturbance".

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 0845 6060606.

Three Bailed Following Pepper Spray Attack
A 12-year-old boy and two parents who were arrested after a pepper spray attack at a Kent school have all been released on bail. Kent Police confirmed that the boy had been arrested on suspicion of possessing a prohibited weapon and discharging a noxious substance.

Shadow Chancellor Fined For Failing To Stop After An Accident
Leeds Magistrates Court has fined shadow chancellor Ed Balls £900 for failing to stop after a a car crash in April. According to a report by the BBC, Mr Balls was fined and given five penalty points for driving away after his car hit a parked car outside Labour's Unity Club in Morley, West Yorkshire on 05 April.

'Skull Cracker' In Custody In London
Kent Police, in partnership with officers from the Metropolitan Police Service, have arrested two men in East London on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. On 3 May, Kent Police began a search for Michael Wheatley, 55, who had failed to return to HMP Standford Hill after being released on temporary licence.
