Murdered Damilola's Mother Dies
Gloria Taylor, the mother of murdered Damilola Taylor, has died following a suspected heart attack.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said that Mrs Taylor, 57, was taken to hospital after she collapsed while out walking with her husband in Shooters Hill, south east London on Wednesday night.
She was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at hospital.
A police spokewoman said in a statement: "A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. The incident is being investigated by local borough officers and is currently being treated as non suspicious."
Damilola, ten, died after being stabbed in the leg in the North Peckham estate in south London in 2000.
Brothers Danny and Rickie Preddie were charged with his manslaughter in 2006 and are serving eight-year sentences.

Woman Dies During Charity Channel Swim
A woman from Barwell, Leicestershire, has died during a charity swim across the English Channel. Susan Taylor, who was in her 30s, got into difficulty while in the water and despite receiving treatment in a support boat was pronounced dead in Boulogne on Sunday.

Six Arrested Over Nottingham Street Brawl Death
Police investigating the death of a 19-year-old man in Nottingham have arrested six people. Joshua Bradley, of Bulwell, died following a suspected street fight in Thurland Street, on 08 February. Two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Teenager rescued from sea dies
A 15-year-old boy rescued from the sea off Norfolk has died. A lifeboat crew rescued the boy who had got into difficulties while swimming with another boy off Wells-Next-the-Sea, Norfolk. He was located by the lifeboat and was airlifted to hospital. But he later died shortly after being admitted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

'Valuable Leads' In Paedophiles Search
Police in South Yorkshire searching for two missing paedophiles say that they are now following a number of "valuable leads" in the case. Police appealed for information on Tuesday following the disappearance of William Bailey and Joseph Taylor. The two men, who were recently released from prison, absconded from their approved addresses on Monday.
