Police Probe Further Into Martine Death

Police investigating the death of Norwegian socialite Martine Vik Magnussen have interviewed clubbers at the spot she was last seen alive.

Ms Vik Magnussen, 23, was seen leaving celebrity hotspot Maddox nightclub in London between 2.30am and 3.30 last Friday morning.

She was reported missing the next day and then her semi-naked body was found at a block of flats on Great Portland Street.

Dectectives want to track down Ms Vik Magnussen's friend Farouk Abdulhak who resided in the block of flats and who travelled to his native Yemen hours before her body was discovered.

Expensive items such as a Marc Jacobs handbag, a Guess watch and Christian Dior earrings were removed from her person.

Post-mortem results were inconclusive and more tests will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.

Ms Vik Magnussen had suffered significant injuries to her neck.

The wealthy family of Farouk Abdulhak, 21, have said they will disown him if he is responsible for her death.

Both he and Ms Vik Magnussen studied international business relations at the private Regent's Business School in Regent's Park.
