Cliff Plunge Couple Remain In Hospital

A couple are still being treated in hospital after their car fell 75ft over cliffs in Cornwall yesterday.

The man and woman, who have not yet been identified, both suffered head injuries and suspected fractures in the incident, which happened around midday on Tuesday at Pendennis Point in Falmouth. However, their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

It is understood that the woman was able to crawl free from the car - a Renault Clio – and the man was later freed by firefighters.

An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.

65-Year-Old Bailed On Asda Carpark Manslaughter Charge
A man arrested in connection with the death of 64-year-old man in an Asda car park has been bailed. It is understood that the victim died in hospital on Sunday after sustaining head injuries when he was pushed to the ground during an argument in the supermarkets disabled parking area.

A man and woman are being treated in hospital after being hit by an ambulance car in Cheltenham. According to reports, the two pedestrians, a 32-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, were hit by the car at about 00:20 on Monday morning as it responded to an emergency.

Woman Mugged In West Midland
A woman has been attacked by two men during a robbery in Selly Oak. She was assaulted, and suffered a bump to the head, during the incident on Shenley Fields Road on Tuesday. The 58-year-old was getting out of her car at around 6.55pm when two men approached her and attacked her.

Disabled Woman Found Dead In Car
A disabled woman found stabbed to death in her car near her home in Harlow, Essex, has been named. Jennifer Macaree was discovered in Hadley Grange on the outskirts of Harlow early on Saturday. Essex Police confirmed she was in the driver's seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa in a parking area near her flat shortly after 3am.

Two more arrested over attempted car bombings
Police investigating the attempted car bombings in London and Glasgow airport have arrested two more people. Two men, aged 28 and 25, were arrested in the Paisley area, west of Glasgow on Sunday night Five people are still being held in connection with the attacks, but it is believed that at least one suspect remains on the run.
