Wi-fi Trial On The Glasgow Subway
A wi-fi system is to be tried out at Buchanan Street Station on the Glasgow Subway.
If successful, passengers will be able to use their laptops and make phone calls.
The link could be in operation by the end of the year.
A similar scheme is also being considered by First Scotrail for central belt services.
Internet is already available on the Scottish Citylink coach route between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Mobile First For Glasgow Subway

Fog Causing Flight Cancellations Across UK
Forty five flights have been cancelled at Heathrow Airport due to thick fog. A second day of thick fog is disrupting flights across the UK, with airports in Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Belfast, Southampton and Cardiff all affected. It is understood that airports on Europe are having similar issues.

£842m Of Taxpayers Money For 'Superhospital'
A new "Superhospital" in Scotland will cost taxpayers £842m, it has been revealed today. Local health board NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) have recommended public funding as opposed to private for the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow.

Police Trace Mother Of Dead Baby Girl
Police have traced the mother of a dead baby girl whose body was found on a cycle track in Port Glasgow last month. The baby's body was found in a holdall by a jogger on September 26. Strathclyde Police confirmed that they had traced the 22-year-old mother of the baby.

British Library boasts London's largest WiFi hotspot
The British Library has launched wireless Internet connectivity in the public areas of its building at St Pancras. The service offers wireless Internet access (WiFi) throughout the 11 reading rooms, the auditorium, the café and restaurant and the outdoor Piazza area.
