Escaped Prisoners Sought By Police
Police in Derbyshire are continuing to search for three men who absconded from HMP Sudbury open prison.
Lee Anthony Mulholland, 28, from Liverpool, absconded from the prison on December 14. He was sentenced to five years for drug offences at Liverpool Crown Court last November.
He is described as being white, 6ft 3ins tall, of proportionate build, cropped light brown hair and brown eyes.
Convicted murderer Daniel Driscoll, 33, from Stevenage in Herts, failed to return to the same prison on December 15 following a temporary release. He was jailed for life in 1992, along with Anthony Coughtrey, for stamping and kicking 19-year-old William Walsh to death.
He had been sentenced to a minimum of 15 years originally, but this was reduced to 13 years in 1998.
He is described as white, 5ft 3ins, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
Andre Hackett, 33, from Slough, also failed to return to the prison on December 15 following a temporary release.
He was serving a four-year sentence for possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply.
He is described as being white, 5ft 8ins tall of proportionate build, with short black hair and brown eyes.
Nearly 700 inmates have absconded from Sudbury prison in the last 10 years.

One Of Two Absconded Prisoners Found
Anthony Peloe, 43, one of the two men who absconded from Thorn Cross open prison in Warrington, Cheshire, at about 10.30am on Tuesday has been found, according to the Cheshire Police. The criminal, who was convicted of possessing firearms in 2005, has been detained and is in custody while John Arnold, who he escaped with, has not yet been found.

Police in Bradford have appeal for information on the whereabouts of 13-year-old Jamilah Patel. Bradford District CID are searching for the teenager who was reported missing from her home on Wheatlands Avenue at about 23:40 on Tuesday night.

Foreign prisoners escape deportation
More than 1,000 foreign prisoners have been released in the UK instead of being deported, Home Office figures have shown. The number includes three murderers and nine rapists, as well as five people convicted of committing sex offences on children, seven convicted for other sex offences, 57 for violent offences and two for manslaughter.

Foreign prisoners to be moved from open jail
Foreign prisoners being held at Ford open prison are to be returned to closed prisons, the Prison Service has announced. The announcement comes after 11 prisoners absconded from the prison this month. They included Jamaican drug dealer Ransford James Baker, who was facing deportation.

Police Search For Naked Driver
Police in south-west London have appealed for information regarding a man, reportedly said to be naked from the waist down, who is driving a vehicle in the Hampton area. It is understood that a man was reported to police for acting suspiciously in a car in Hampton on 04 November. Reports said that he was naked below the waist.
