Rihanna Cancels Three UK Concerts

R&B singer Rihanna has been forced to pull out of three UK shows.

The 19-year-old Barbados-born singer had been due to play at the NEC Arena in Birmingham tonight, but was forced to cancel the gig on doctor's orders.

A planned concert in Bournemouth on Tuesday has also been cancelled, while a concert in Nottingham on Saturday was also called off.

A representative of the NEC said that Rihanna "appreciates the love and support of all her fans and wants nothing more than to see and connect with them."

The reason for the doctor's order has not been disclosed. However, Rihanna is understood to be planning to reschedule all three concerts.

Rihanna's European tour kicked off in Paris in November and was due to finish in Moscow on December 21.
