Woman Questioned Over Baby's Death
Police investigating the death of a three-month-old baby girl in north Wales are questioning a woman.
The baby girl, who has not been named, was taken to Gwynedd Hospital in Bangor on Wednesday after emergency services were called to a house in Bridge Street in Llannerch-y-Medd, Anglesey. However, the child was pronounced dead on arrival.
North Wales Police have confirmed that they are treated the death as suspicious "as a matter of procedure" and confirmed that a woman was helping them with their inquiries.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out later.
The house in Bridge Street has been sealed off for forensic examinations to take place and house-to-house enquiries are also being carried out.
