Bodies Of Algarve Drowning Tragedy Parents Flown Home

The bodies of three Britons who drowned in the Algarve while trying to rescue their children from severe sea currents were flown home at the weekend.

Bob Fry, 52, his wife Deb, 48, and Jean Dinsmore, 43, all from Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire, all died as they attempted to save their children from strong currents at Praia do Tonel beach near Sagres in the Algarve in Portugal on October 22.

A German man was also killed in the same incident. The children were all washed ashore and suffered minor injuries.

Inquests into all three deaths are expected to be opened this week.
