Amy Fined After Drug Swoop
Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been arrested in Norway over a drugs offence.
It is understood that Winehouse was arrested along with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil and a third person, for possession of marijuana at a hotel in Bergen on Thursday night. It is believed that the arrests followed a police tip-off.
They were reported to have been found with seven grams of the drug. All three were held overnight and released on Friday morning after paying fines of around £350.
Winehouse is currently on a European tour and is due to perform a concert in Bergen tonight, followed by a concert in Norwegian capital Oslo on Saturday, before she travels to the Netherlands.
The troubled singer has been dogged by reports of drug addiction over the past number of months, with rumours of crack and heroin use.
Winehouse, who was named Best UK Female at the Mobo awards last month, was forced to postpone the US leg of her tour last month because of health problems.
She is due to begin the UK part of her tour next month in Birmingham.
