Ritz Hotel Visit For Diana Jurors
The jury in the inquest into the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed have visited the Ritz Hotel in Paris, where the couple had dinner before their fatal car crash.
The 11 jurors made the visit during a two-day trip to Paris in order to view the places visited by the couple in the night they died.
On Monday, the jurors were driven along the route the couple travelled on August 31 1997, from the Ritz Hotel, along the River Seine, to the Pont de L'Alma tunnel, where the crash occurred, killing the Princess, Mr Fayed and the couple's driver Henri Paul.
They then travelled to the Pitie-Salpetriere hospital where Diana died.
The jurors are now returning to London.
Last week, the coroner said that there had been claims that the Princess' journey to hospital took too long and that she should have been taken to the Hotel-Dieu hospital, which the ambulance passed on its way to the other hospital.
The inquest has heard how doctors had battled to save the Princess' life, but that she went into cardiac arrest not long after arriving in hospital, shortly after 2am.
The purpose of the jury's visit to Paris is to help them get a clearer understanding of the scene of the crash.
The inquest is expected to last around six months.

Strange Hotel Welcome For UK Soldier?
A soldier injured in Afghanistan has been refused hotel accommodation - and while the incident has shocked politicians - it isn't the first such incident. Last year, an NCO was verbally abused by Muslim hospital workers when he went to visit seriously injured colleagues.
