Teenage Boy Questioned Over Woman's Death
Police in west Wales are continuing to question a 16-year-old boy over the death of a woman who was killed while out walking her dog.
Kelly Hyde, a 24-year-old hairdresser from Ammanford, was last seen on Thursday morning as she walked her dog - a black and tan whippet called Scrappy.
The dog was found wandering in woodland on Friday morning and Ms Hyde's body was found in the same area in Pantyffynnon on Sunday. She had suffered severe head injuries.
The 16-year-old boy was arrested on Tuesday in Pantyffynnon in connection with Ms Hyde's death. He is currently being held at Carmarthen police station.
A statement issued by Kelly's father said: "Kelly was a much loved daughter, sister, sister-in-law and aunt will be sorely missed by us all as a family.
"She was a wonderful, warm, sensitive and creative girl with a vibrant personality who was a lover of life and made every effort to live life to the full.
"There are no words that can describe our sense of loss at this time, one of life's treasures has been taken away from us never to be replaced."
