Rhys Murder - Six Released
Six teenagers arrested in connection with the murder of Merseyside schoolboy Rhys Jones have been released by police.
Four suspects - two boys aged 15 and 19 and two girls aged 15 and 18 - were released without charge, while two boys, aged 16 and 19, were released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
Four teenage boys, two aged 15, one aged 14 and one aged 18, were also arrested earlier in the investigation and they have all also been released on police bail.
Eleven-year-old Rhys was shot by a hooded youth on a BMX bicycle as he played football with his friends in the car park of the Fir Tree pub in Croxteth in Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
Players from Everton football club - Rhys' favourite team - visited the murder scene to pay tribute to him on Monday.
The squad laid a wreath in the shape of a blue and white football at the scene and captain Phil Neville appealed "to anyone to come and give information about the person who did this terrible thing".
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on: 0151 777 8722 or Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.
