Fourth Arrest Over Biker Murder
A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the murder of biker Gerard Tobin.
Mr Tobin, 35, of south London was shot dead as he travelled home on the M40 from the Bulldog Bash bikers' festival at Long Marston near Stratford, Warwickshire on August 12.
It is understood that the man was arrested in the Alderman's Green area of Coventry on Wednesday evening. He is being held on suspicion of murder.
Three other men were arrested in connection with Mr Tobin's murder on Wednesday.
They were detained during early morning raids on two properties in Coventry and one in Nuneaton and are currently being held at a Warwickshire police station.
During the raids, a number of bladed weapons and a firearm were recovered.
Two vehicles - a van and a Rover car - were also recovered from the addresses.
A second Rover car, which had been damaged by fire, was also recovered prior to the raids and is also being examined. However, no further information about when or where this vehicle was found has been released.
It was reported that further searches were being carried out at the property in Coventry on Thursday.
Police believe that the shots fired at Mr Tobin came from a dark green Rover 620 car, which was seen passing him at the time of the shooting.
Assistant Chief Constable Bill Holland renewed an appeal for anyone who saw a dark green Rover 620 on the afternoon of the attack to contact police urgently.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 01926 415881.
