Pair Sought Over Merseyside Murder

Merseyside Police have named two men who they are seeking in connection with the murder of Thomas Harrison.

Mr Harrison, 29, from Huyton, was murdered in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

He had been out for the evening with friends and family at a party before he was fatally stabbed as he walked along Edinburgh Drive.

Detectives have said that they are "particularly keen" to speak to Kevin Keegan Corke, 31 and Carl Anthony Taylor, 20, also from Huyton, in connection with the case.

Police said that the motive for the murder was unclear, but they are linking it to a fight, which took place outside a nearby social club. In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "It appears that the person involved in that fight with Thomas came back to seek retribution. It's believed the offender was with a group of people in the area before he and a second man approached Thomas."

Police said that the offenders left the scene in a silver car, which they are also keen to trace.

A 24-year-old man has also been arrested as part of the investigation.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact police on: 0151 777 6565 or Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.
