Cameron denies leadership rift
Conservative leader David Cameron has attempted to scotch rumours of a leadership rift in the party.
Mr Cameron, who is on a trip to Rwanda to set out his approach to global poverty, has sought to dismiss the rumours.
The Tory leader said that suggestions that Conservative MPs were seeking a vote of no-confidence was a "non-story."
He insisted that politicians could not deal with issues such as global poverty, climate change and terrorism without visiting other countries.
Mr Cameron said that he would not be retreating into the traditional Tory right-wing "comfort zone" on policies.
The Tory leader will be staying in Rwanda for one night to view the efforts of a number of Conservative party volunteers working on aid projects.
