Second man dies after leaping from pier
A second man has died in hospital after leaping off a pier in Essex and plunging into the sea.
The man, one of five who jumped off the Clacton Pier in Essex on July 8, were found in the sea by lifeboat crews.
The two injured men were flown to hospital where one died on arrival and the second man is has also died in Colchester General Hospital.
He is the latest victim of a craze called tombstoning, where people jump off cliffs or piers and into the sea.
Coastguards are frequently issuing warnings of the dangers of tombstoning, however the craze seems to growing in popularity.
The five men are reported to have jumped in fully clothed.
A post-mortem examination is to take place later today.

Teenager rescued from sea dies
A 15-year-old boy rescued from the sea off Norfolk has died. A lifeboat crew rescued the boy who had got into difficulties while swimming with another boy off Wells-Next-the-Sea, Norfolk. He was located by the lifeboat and was airlifted to hospital. But he later died shortly after being admitted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Police Appeal For Man Missing From Glasgow Hospital
Police Scotland have appealed for help in tracing a man missing from a Glasgow hospital. Iain McHarg, 58, is a patient at Leverndale Hospital in the Pollok area and was last seen at 1330 hours on Tuesday 11 August 2015. He is described as 6'2", heavy build, bald with short grey hair at the sides and stubble.

Six Arrested Over Nottingham Street Brawl Death
Police investigating the death of a 19-year-old man in Nottingham have arrested six people. Joshua Bradley, of Bulwell, died following a suspected street fight in Thurland Street, on 08 February. Two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Wounded PC to return to beat
The young Police Constable shot and seriously wounded while investigating a break-in in Nottingham has said that she plans to return to the beat. PC Rachael Bown, who has since left hospital, spent a week in intensive care after she was shot in the stomach, but has said that the incident will not stop her doing her job.
