Teenager stabbed to death in Blackpool
A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in Blackpool.
It is understood that the teenager, who has not been named, was found in Cockerham Walk in Grange Park, Blackpool in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is believed that he died from a single stab wound to the chest.
A 26-year-old man was also found at the scene, suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, where he is in a stable condition. His injuries are not understood to be life threatening.
Police are expected to question him about the incident later.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Esseen said: "We've launched a murder investigation and are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything to come forward.
"We realise an incident took place in the early hours of this morning, but we believe someone may have seen something.
"The 16-year-old received a single stab wound and was dead at the scene. A 26-year-old man has been taken to the Vic suffering from stab wounds, but his injuries are not serious."

Nurse killed in hospital stabbing
A murder inquiry has been launched after a nurse was stabbed to death at a hospital. It is understood that the woman was attacked on parkland at the back of St George's Hospital in Hornchurch on Thursday morning. The woman, who has not been named, is understood to be aged in her 30s. Police said that she suffered multiple stab wounds.

Man Charged Over East London Murder
A 48-year-old man has been charged with the murder of woman in east London. Police say that the man has been charged with stabbing to death 26-year-old Leighann Duffy. Ms Duffy was found at a house in Hatherley Road in Walthamstow suffering stab wounds to her arm and neck. She died two days later in hospital.

A Merseyside teenager has been charged with the murders of his parents, it has emerged today. Seventy-two-year-old Sidney Brian Blackwell and his 61-year-old wife Jackie Blackwell were found dead at their home in Sandy Lane in Melling, Sefton, shortly before 4.30pm on Sunday September 5.
