Missing toddler sought in Portugal
Portuguese police are investigating a report that a toddler from Leicester has been abducted while on holiday.
It is reported that a couple on holiday had returned to their room to discover that their three-year daughter was missing from the apartment.
The couple had been having a meal close to the apartment at the Mark Warner Ocean Summer Club, Praia da Luz in the Algarve.
The British Embassy has been informed of the toddler's disappearance.
It is understood that the family was part of a group of nine adults and eight children and had been checking regularly on the children while having a meal a short distance from the apartment complex.

An 18-month boy has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Sardinia, while on holiday with his family. Brad Kremer, from Reading in Berkshire, fell from the first-floor balcony at the Chia Laguna Resort on the Mediterranean island on Saturday. He was rushed to hospital in the island's main town of Cagliari, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

A toddler has died after being found in a stream during a family holiday in Perthshire. Rory Neil Cochran, who was 22 months old and from Edinburgh, was found in the Tullochcurran Burn, near Blairgowrie on Sunday afternoon. His family had earlier reported him missing from their log cabin in Kirkmichael, between Blairgowrie and Pitlochry.

One-year-old Daniel Betley, from Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, fell 16ft from the first floor balcony of the Hotel Best on Tuesday. The toddler was on holiday with his mother and grandparents in Cambrils on Costa Dorada.
