More acts confirmed for Diana concert

Lily Allen, Kanye West and The Feeling are among the latest acts to be confirmed on the line-up of the Princess Diana memorial concert.

Rod Stewart, Natasha Bedingfield, James Morrison, Orson and Status Quo have also been added to the line-up for the concert, which will take place at Wembley Stadium on July 1.

Other acts previously announced for the concert include Sir Elton John, Duran Duran, Joss Stone, Bryan Ferry and Pharrell Williams.

The concert is being held to mark the tenth anniversary of the Princess' death, on what would have been her 46th birthday.

The concert has been organised by her sons Prince William and Prince Harry.

The first 22,500 tickets sold out within minutes when they went on sale in December.

An extra 10,000 tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday morning via Ticketmaster, priced £45 each.

Take That to play Diana concert
Take That have confirmed that they will play the Princess Diana memorial concert at Wembley Stadium on July 1. The band, who reunited last year, said that they were "very honoured" to play the show, which is organised by Prince William and Prince Harry to mark the tenth anniversary of their mother's death.

Murdered Officer Receives Posthumous Bravery Award
A police officer who died trying to restrain a terror suspect has received a posthumous award for bravery. Detective Constable Stephen Oake, of Greater Manchester Police, was stabbed to death by Kamel Bourgass at a flat in Crumpsall, Manchester, in January 2003.

Diana memorial concert plans unveiled
Princes William and Harry have unveiled plans to stage a concert to mark the tenth anniversary of the death of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The Concert For Diana will be held at the new Wembley Stadium on July 1 - the princess' birthday.

Anger over Live8 ticket sales on eBay
Winners of tickets for next month’s Live8 concert who are attempting to sell their tickets on internet auction site eBay have been branded as “obscene”. The Hunter Foundation, who are helping organiser Bob Geldof to stage another Live8 event in Edinburgh, urged anyone selling Live8 tickets to withdraw them from sale.

Woman Discovered With Fatal Injuries Named As Concert Pianist
A woman discovered with fatal injuries in Manchester has been named by police. The body of 38-year-old Natalia Strelle was found with serious head injuries on Sunday, 30 August in Newton Heath. Emergency services attended the address on Culcheth Lane at 12:45am after reports that a woman had been assaulted.
