Fire disrupts train services in London

A fire has disrupted many train services in London.

The fire was sparked by two explosions at a warehouse at Canal Approach in Deptford Park in Lewisham, southeast London.

The blaze, which reportedly involved gas cylinders, has a 200 metre exclusion zone placed around it and around 200 people living near the scene have been evacuated from their homes.

Services run by Southeastern Trains, Southern and First Capital Connect were affected by the blaze, but all train services are reported to have resumed on all routes.

However, commuters will face delays on their journeys, with passengers travelling in and out of London Bridge being warned to expect delays of around 30 minutes.

Around 50 firefighters and 10 fire engines are understood to be attending the incident.
