Vandals trash family home
Police are trying to track down revellers after a family home was trashed during a party thrown by a teenage girl.
Rachael Bell is still in hiding and is too scared to face her parents after two hundred teenagers travelled to the party in County Durham after seeing it advertised on the internet.
Rachael's parents, Alan and Elaine were away on a caravan holiday over the Easter break.
Every room in the house was ransacked and the girl's mother's wedding dress had been taken from a wardrobe and urinated on.
Mrs Bell said: "I told her that I did not want any kids or drink in the house while I was away and I am furious. It's worse than a burglary, I can't believe it.
"It will take a month for it to be professionally cleaned and we are having to stay in temporary accommodation."
Rachael is now staying with friends for a "cooling off" period.
A spokesperson for Durham Police said: "There has been a formal complaint from the owners and criminal damage to the interior and fixtures and fittings."

Girl Contacts Police After Baby Find
A teenage girl in a distressed state has contacted the Humberside Police, reporting that she was the mother of the baby found at Bell Waste Control in Scunthorpe earlier yesterday. Police officers went to meet her and she was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital where she has been admitted for post natal care.

The hunt is on for two teenage youths who grabbed cash from a pregnant girl after she'd withdrawn money from a Gateshead cashpoint. The incident happened just after 10pm on Friday, January 27 outside the Coop, Tower Court in Dunston.

Wounded Pc requires more surgery
The young female Nottinghamshire Police Constable shot on Tuesday has had further surgery to investigate a setback in her condition. Pc Rachael Bown, 23, who was shot and seriously wounded in the abdomen, required further surgery when her condition deteriorated.
