Appeal over Glasgow sex attack
Police have appealed for witness after an Algerian woman and her baby son were sexually assaulted in Glasgow.
The attack happened around 4:30pm on Tuesday afternoon as the 33-year-old woman walked her one-year-old son in his pram on the cycle path between Plean Street and Dyke Road in Yoker.
They were approached by a group of men who threw stones at them and kicked the woman.
It is understood that racial remarks were made towards the woman.
One of the men then exposed himself and indecently assaulted the woman, before attempting to perform an indecent act on the child.
The woman fled the scene with her son, leaving the pram, a headscarf and a baby's bottle on the cycle path.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged 20 to 25, tall and thin with very short hair. He was wearing white and blue tracksuit trousers.
Detective Inspector Andy McWilliam said: "This was a particularly harrowing ordeal for the woman and her son. I would urge the other males in this group to assist the police in identifying the male responsible.
"I am also keen to locate the whereabouts of the pram, headscarf and baby's bottle."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Partick CID on: 0141 532 3500 or Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.
