Angelina Jolie completes adoption of Vietnamese boy
Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has completed her adoption of a three-year-old Vietnamese boy and the pair are now reported to be on the way back to the US.
The Oscar-winning actress made a short trip to the Vietnamese capital Hanoi in order to obtain a visa for Pax Thien, whom she adopted in Ho Chi Minh City last week.
Pax is Jolie's third adopted child. She already has an adopted son - five-year-old Maddox from Cambodia - and an adopted daughter - two-year-old Zahara from Ethiopia.
The actress also has a daughter, Shiloh, with her partner, actor Brad Pitt.
Pax was born Pham Quang Sang and had lived in an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City since being abandoned at birth.
It is understood Jolie and Pitt visited the orphanage during a trip to Vietnam at the end of last year.
Pitt was not included in the application to adopt the child because it is illegal for unmarried couples to adopt a child under Vietnamese law.
Claims made by a Vietnamese official that Jolie's application was fast-tracked have been rejected by US agency Adoptions from the Heart.
