Husband still in custody over Pc's murder

Police are continuing to question the husband of special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri over her murder.

Fadi Nasri, 33, was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Wembley, northwest London on Tuesday morning.

He is the fourth man to be arrested in connection with the case. A 37-year-old man who was originally arrested in December in connection with the murder is also being interviewed again by police.

Two other men have already been charged with Mrs Patel-Nasri's murder. Tony Emmanuel, 41, and Jason Jones, 35, are due to appear at the old Bailey for a hearing on March 16.

Mrs Patel-Nasri was stabbed in the leg and bled to death outside her home in Sudbury Avenue in Wembley on May 11 last year.

It is thought that the 29-year-old, who was off-duty at the time of the attack, may have gone outside after hearing a disturbance outside her home.

She and her husband had celebrated their third wedding anniversary on the night that she died, but he had left the house before the murder took place.
