Iron Lady unveils bronze statue
Baroness Thatcher has unveiled a seven-foot high statue of herself in the Members' Lobby of the House of Commons.
Better known as the 'Iron Lady' during her tenure as Prime Minister, Baroness Thatcher is the first living former Prime Minister to be honoured with a statue in the Commons.
At the unveiling today with her successor John Major and current Tory leader David Cameron, Baroness Thatcher 81, quipped: "I might be made of iron but bronze will do."
The 7ft 4in tall statue by Anthony Dufort faces that of Winston Churchill.

Baroness Thatcher leaves hospital
Former Conservative Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher has left hospital after being given a "clean bill of health". Lady Thatcher, 80, told waiting reporters: "I'm fine, I feel fine." The former Prime Minister was taken to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital after she began to feel unwell during a visit to her hairdressers on Wednesday.

'Iron Lady' Breaks Arm
Baroness Thatcher has broken an arm after taking a tumble at her home today. It was earlier reported that the former prime minister had been discharged from hospital, however, it is now believed she will kept under medical observation for a further 24 hours.

Former UK Prime Minister Baroness Margaret Thatcher has died following a stroke at the age of 87. Her spokesman, Lord Bell, said in a statement: "It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning. Baroness Thatcher Funeral Announced
Downing Street has announced that the funeral of Baroness Thatcher will take place on Wednesday 17 April. The former prime minister died on Monday, after suffering a series of strokes. She was 87-years-old. Following a processions from Westminster, the full ceremony, with full military honours, will take place at London's St Paul's Cathedral.
