Second man arrested over hit-and-run death
A second man has been arrested in connection with the death of an Edinburgh schoolboy in a hit-and-run incident last October.
Jack Anderson, 10, died after being hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing in Saughton Road North in the city on October 5 last year. He was returning from Carrick Knowe Primary School and was just 200 yards from his home when the incident occurred.
The man, understood to be nineteen-year-old Patrick Nolan, was arrested in London on Saturday and is due to appear at Edinburgh's Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Another man, Michael Adam Purcell, 19, appeared in court charged with culpable homicide, as well as five other charges, on October 26 last year.
Police are still searching for a third man, Mr Purcell's 25-year-old brother Issac, in connection with Jack's death.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

Man Arrested In Toddler Death Probe
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a three-year-old girl. The toddler was brought to hospital on Friday but died in the early hours of Saturday morning. A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man from Beck Road, Shiregreen, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and inquiries are continuing.

Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
