Five men charged with Somerset murder

Five men have been charged with murder following the death of a man in Weston-super-Mare in Somerset.

John Nigel Dunn, 44, of no fixed abode, was found in the centre of Weston-super-Mare on Friday. He was taken to hospital, but died later.

A post-mortem revealed that he died from a head injury and multiple woundings.

Wayne Jones, 36, Richard Evans, 53, Andrew Fuge, 44, all from Weston-super-Mare, Terence Townsend, 50, from Gwaelod-y-Forth and Barry Shortt, 44, of no fixed abode are all due to appear at Weston Magistrates Court on Monday charged with murder.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

Coroner Seeks Public's Help To Trace Next Of Kin
Sefton Coroner's Office has appealed for the public's help in tracing the family of Mark Gerald Parker. Mr Parker, of no fixed abode, died on Saturday 06 June in Southport. It is understood that officials have been unable to trace the 40-year-old's next of kin.

Four Charged Over Everton Tower Block Cannabis Farm
Four men have been charged following the discovery of a cannabis farm in a tower block in Everton. Police on patrol on Wednesday 10 June noticed a strong a smell of cannabis in the area. Investigating the smell, the officers uncovered a large scale cannabis grow house in a number of flats.
