Boy killed in hotel electrocution
A British boy has died after being electrocuted in a hotel room in Thailand.
Seven-year-old Connor O'Keefe is believed to have died after plugging in his Game Boy in a room at the Sunset Beach Resort in Phuket on Saturday.
He was found by his parents, David Skinner, 49, and Kathleen Curry, 45.
According to reports, local police believe that the boy had plugged in the games console while he was still wet from swimming.
The manager of the hotel also told reporters that he believed the death was a "tragic accident" that had been caused by a combination of water and electricity which caused a fatal electric shock.
However, Connor's mother Kathleen told 'The Sun' newspaper that her son knew of the dangers of electricity and "was not stupid".
Connor's sister Maria also told the newspaper that there had to be a question over the safety of the electrics in the hotel, but said that this had to be "properly looked into".
It is reported that Connor's parents have now returned to the UK with his body.
