Four charged with cabbie murder
Four youths have been charged in connection with the murder of taxi driver Mohammed Pervaiz in Huddersfield on Saturday.
Michael David Hand, 19, and three other teenagers - two aged 17 and one aged 16 - who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Huddersfield Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Mr Hand and the two 17-year-olds were remanded in custody, while the 16-year-old was remanded in a secure unit.
All four, who are also charged with violent disorder, are due to appear before Bradford Crown Court on August 2.
Four females arrested on Monday afternoon in connection with inquiry have all been released without charge.
However, an 18-year-old man arrested on Tuesday evening on suspicion of murder is currently being held in police custody.
A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday.
Mr Pervaiz, a 41-year-old father-of-three from Birkby, was killed while responding to a request for a fare in Field Head, Golcar on Saturday night. A post-mortem revealed that he died as a result of head injuries.
Mr Pervaiz, who moved to the UK from Pakistan in 1994, had worked as a taxi driver for the last seven years.

Four Arrested Over Denton Fight Death
Four people, including a 15-year-old male, have been charged with the murder of a man in Denton, Greater Manchester. Police responded to reports of a fight between a group of men on Manchester Road at about 3am on Sunday 07 June. When they arrived officers found a number of men fighting. Two men had suffered serious injuries.

Man arrested over attempted London bomb attacks
Scotland Yard have confirmed that a man has been arrested in connection with the attempted July 21 London bombings. A 36-year-old man was arrested in the capital by anti-terrorist police officers around 17:05 BST on Tuesday. He remains in custody at a central London police station, where he is being questioned.

Four More Charged Over Becky Watts Murder
Four more people have been charged in relation to the murder of 16-year-old schoolgirl, Becky Watts. Donovan Demetrius, Karl Demetrius, Jaydene Parsons and James Ireland have all been charged with assisting an offender. They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Bristol Magistrates' Court later today, Friday.

Four Charged Over Coventry Nightclub Murder
Four men have been charged with the murder of a teenager outside a Coventry nightclub. Daniel Kirkwood (18) was found with serious knife wounds to his neck outside the Society Club in the early hours of Sunday morning. He died in hospital on the same day.
