Police continue to quiz pair over child abduction

Police are continuing to question two men on suspicion of child cruelty in connection with the reported abduction of a four-year-old girl in Swansea.

Police were called to the Sainsbury's supermarket in Quay Parade in Swansea on Wednesday after reports of shoppers seeing a young girl being taken out into the boot of a car.

The sighting sparked a nationwide hunt for the child after it emerged that the vehicle had been seen in London the day before the incident in Swansea.

The child was found safe and well in Bracknell around 2200 BST last night and is now with her family.

A 32-year-old man from the Ealing area and a 48-year-old man from the Bracknell area were arrested last night. They are due to be transferred to Swansea on Monday to be interviewed.
