Raid brothers 'thought they would die'
The two brothers at the centre of the anti-terrorist raid in east London have told reporters how they feared they would be killed in the raid.
Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 23, and Abul Koyair, 20, were finally released without charge, a week after police raided their home in Lansdown Road in Forest Gate.
Mr Kahar was was shot during the raid, which involved around 250 police officers.
Speaking at a press conference he said: "I thought, one by one, they're going to kill us. I thought I was going to die."
Mr Kahar said that he was woken around 4am on the morning of the raid and went to investigate, believing that the house was being burgled. He described being shot, saying that he saw an "orange spark" and heard a "big bang" and described the pain as seeming "like fire".
Mr Kahar said that whoever was responsible for the raid should be punished.
Scotland Yard has said that they received "specific intelligence" suggested that there was a chemical device in the brothers' home.
However, nothing was discovered during searches at the property and the brothers, who had been arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000, were released without charge on June 10.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating the raid.

Police search continues at raided house
Anti-terrorism are continuing to search a house at the centre of a raid conducted because of an alleged chemical weapon plot. The raid was conducted at a house in Forest Gate in east London on Friday, but so far, no chemical devices have been found.
