Snoop Dogg to leave UK
US rap star Snoop Dogg is to leave the UK on Friday after being arrested during a disturbance at Heathrow Airport earlier this week.
The 34-year-old star, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was released on bail on Thursday. He has not been charged.
He was one of six men - all US citizens in their thirties - who were arrested when a disturbance broke out in a business lounge at Terminal 1 in Heathrow Airport on Wednesday evening.
Around 30 people were involved in the fracas which allegedly broke out when Snoop's party were told that they could not board their flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.
Seven police officers received minor injuries during the disturbance. Most of those who were injured suffered cuts and bruises, while one fractured his hand.
The six men, including Snoop Dogg, were arrested on charges of violent disorder and affray.
The arrests meant that Snoop was forced to cancel a gig in Johannesburg as part of the Freedom Day celebrations in South Africa.
He is due to perform at two other concerts in the country - one in Durban on Saturday and another in Cape Town on Monday.
However, the rapper will have to return to a West London police station in mid-May as part of his bail conditions.
A spokesperson for British Airways said: "Given the nature of the disturbance, they have been banned from travelling with BA for the foreseeable future."
